NESC II news

We had a pretty good turn-out yesterday despite the weather which wasn't all that bad. There were some sprinkles and one brief period of rain but other than that no big deal.

Just like last year those attending got to try out the new latest and greatest in two handed rods.
Plenty of guys were out on the field trying out the rods to see what they liked the best.

Scott Bennet from Compleat Angler outdid himself by providing another fantastic lunch. Many thanks Scoot for your time and effort, we all appreciate it!!

Many thanks to the vendors who did attend, Spey Casting North East really appreciated your taking the time to come out and spend the day.

As you may be aware three rods were raffled off with the proceeds going to Farmington River Anglers Association. I do not know the exact amount but close to $900.00 was collected yesterday. The winner of a new Thomas & Thomas DNA 7130 is Gary Whipple.

Many thanks also to Thomas & Thomas, TFO and Redington for their rod donations. You guys rock!!

Mr. Davidson won BOTH the TFO Deer Creek  AND the Redington Prospector! He is one lucky guy.

Scattered showers for tomorrow

that will not stop us from holding NESC II.

There is a pavilion there for vendors and attendees to hide under if the need arises.
